Where and what to eat for breakfast in Taman Megah? I often ask myself that question during my occasional weekend marketing at Pasar Taman Megah. There is the famous Key Hiong Dim Sum, Nasi Lemak Bungkus or Roti Canai options at the mamak stall in the Pasar itself, or the hawker centres nearby. Today, I opted to try Roast Pork Dry Curry Noodles at Restoran Megah Good Luck.
You have the option of dry or soup version, with noodles choices of mee, bihun or kuay teow. I went for the dry curry with kuay teow. For RM6, it comes with a generous portion of siew yuk / roast pork. The skin was crispy, meat was juicy and tasty.
The dry version has a mix of soy sauce and curry which was rather interesting. The default order comes with taugeh / bean sprouts but I asked for it to be excluded because I don’t fancy taugehs.
Overall, it is a delicious, cheap (considering the generous portion of siew yuk) and satisfying dish for only RM6. Here is a picture of the stall:
